This well known maternity clinic offers women a natural and holistic approach to their pregnancy and birth. With this unit being a stand alone, yet fully equipped for any emergency (including a theatre).

It offers tastefully decorated rooms with a stoep area to the outside, private toilet and shower and built in birth pool. Each room has its own fridge and fully air-conditioned.

Blissful birth unit
Roodepoort, Gauteng

This is a midwife led home birth unit that support low risk pregnancy and birth. There are two birthing rooms that can facilitate water birth. They deliver low risk babies after a pregnancy of at least 37 weeks. Once you are in active labour you will come to Blissful Birth where you will be attended by a doula and two midwives.

They offer antenatal consultations with a midwife as well.

City View Birthing Retreat

 City View Birthing Retreat is a freestanding birthing center that provides a less institutionalised setting than a hospital for women who wish to deliver naturally and is staffed by advanced midwives and doulas in independent practice. All rooms are private and allows for a home from home setting.

 

City View Birthing Retreat is medically equipped to assist with an emergency until the client can be transferred to the nearest hospital or hospital of her preferred backup obstetrician.
